TOGETHER BY GRACE

We are brought together by God's gift of grace.  Because of this gift, we receive eternal life and a promise of heaven.  We need the grace of God first for our salvation, but also for our daily walk with God.  Grace is God giving us blessing or good that we do not deserve.  It is fullness in the life of the believer.  It is by the grace of God that we are what we are.

Romans 1:7 

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Using the gift of God's grace, Jerusalem Lutheran Church realizes that we cannot always be together as a church family.  Whether you have moved away, are home-bound, in the military, or just not able to come for worship, all members are kept in our thoughts and prayers.  We literally keep these individuals present with us during each and every worship service by the "Together By Grace" display located at the front of the sanctuary pews.  For those members who have submitted their photo, we proudly display it keeping them a part of their church family.

 

We believe that grace is not a thing, but rather a process; a journey with a direction, not a destination.  It is not something that one can hold, but rather something you flow with.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.
